Y'all, I'm having so much fun painting these door hangers! It's even more fun having paint parties and seeing how other people take the door hanger that I have cut for them and make it completely into something original. For the month of February, my favorite door hangers are a "Lepre-Gnome" and a St. Patrick's Day truck. (Special thanks to Southern Adoorments Decor for the Gnome design.)
I officially started doing paint parties in November with Christmas door hangers. I had 3 big parties and November and December and decided that this is a lot of fun and something that I want to continue doing. There has definitely been a learning curve, but I have found a core group of painting friends who are joining me each month and we are having a great time.
I am crazy about this truck. Let's be honest, I love this truck for all holidays. I've done it for Fall, Christmas, Valentine's, St. Patrick's, and it is just a matter of time before I do it for Easter, spring, and summer. It is so fun and versatile. There are just so many options!
I am also in love with the Gnome. I've painted a general "welcome" sign, a valentine gnome and now this adorable leprechaun design. I am trying to determine how to add bunny ears to him and make him Easter ready! Gnomes are so popular these days and I think this design is just super cute. The best part of the paint parties is seeing how friends paint their hangers.
I'm starting to pull the door hangers for my March parties together. I think I will have a truck, a mason jar, a bunny, some cute word, and maybe a cross. What do you think would be a great Easter/Spring door hanger? I'm trying to come up with some really fun ideas and would love suggestions. I want to keep the parties fun and fresh.
